About Me

Tame are a Kilkenny-based 4-piece band, consisting of: J.P (guitar/vocals), Norm (guitar), Conor and Tristan (drums). The band was founded by J.P and Norm in late 1999 after both of the guys had been in bands they weren't quite happy with. They started out as a 2-piece acoustic act and gigged for a while, however after a year or so they decided to recruit a drummer and bass player to make their sound heavier (that being the original concept). After playing with a barrage of bass players (lost now, due to the greenhouse effect and the melting of the polar ice-caps) they have decided to stay with Conor. So with Tristan's atomic drums and J.P and Norm's dirty distortion found only in the darkest sewers of music's mind, we present to you: Tame.
