Born in South India to a family steeped in Gospel music, Naveenshowed a natural affinity (and an unnatural ability) for the flute from when he was three years old. Since then, he has developed a solid career as one of the top flautists in the Indian film and advertising industry.
Naveen’s grab-bag has wind instruments from all over the world, including Armedian duduks, Scottish bagpipes and a few experimental hybrids he’s made himself. His sound is at once gentle, lush, incredibly varied and singularly captivating.
