Doug Mizell's personal passions for science and history have led him in new directions that may very well impact science and history itself. He is a national leader in the development of the 'cellulosic" fuel sciences. His contention that "the industry cannot make fuel from food or feed" is ringing true as the commodity markets skyrocket corn and soy bean prices due to the additional demand pressures of ethanol production.Doug's independent development of KUDZUNOL (a fuel grade ethanol made from KUDZU) has gained him the attention of alternative fuel enthusiasts, scientists, and universities all over the world. He is a Champion of "Zero Valued Feed Stocks" and thinks that the development of new "enzymetic cellulosic technologies" will ultimately make many farm and food industry waste products the feed stocks of our future fuels. Doug is a co-founder of Agro*Gas Industries, LLC. He and Tom Monahan founded the company in the spring of 2007. Agro*Gas strategies and protocalls embody the beliefs and vision of its leadership. That alone, puts the company in the vanguard of this embryonic industry, and will send it on the fast track to success.
