KodeX PCM was founded in early 2007 by Bernhard von Waehring who started this as a one man show with minimal equipment (1 keyboard without bass keys). PCM = Pulse-Code Modulation. having added a guitar, a computer and various mixing techniques, Kodex PCM is a state of the art production. Bernhard does almost anything himself, with a few exceptions where long-time collaborator Cpt. Bernhard von Waehring, longterm member of Viennese GANJA FAMILY (Psychedelic/Instrumental) started to focus on his solo work (and his work with ALIEN ALERT) in early 2007.
His first solo record will be released approximately in Summer 2008.From 1985 to now BERNHARD VON WAEHRING played in various groups like BACK DOOR MEN, TOXIC DARLING, TEMPLE OF VIJAJAH and GANJA FAMILY.B.V.W:"I don't play live very often. I used to love it, but the MS disease makes me stay home most of the time, getting all of my energy together for the basic things that have become often very difficult for me to do.
I jam with GANJA FAMILY and ALIEN ALERT at the studio and every now and then play a few small gigs. At the moment I am mixing recordings in my new home studio for ALIEN ALERT, GANJA FAMILY and my solo project. IGGY POP put it that way: I been hurt...but I don't care.
