Bark Hide and Horn's 'National Road' now available

About Me

Born in 2003 with the release of Andy Furgeson's first solo album, 'Bedroom Currents,' Boy Howdy Records has grown alongside its founder to its current status as the publishing company/label behind Bark Hide and Horn. During his education at Pomona College, Furgeson expanded the label to support several bands, poets, and film-makers. When he moved to Portland in 2005, he narrowed the focus to his new band. In three years, Bark Hide and Horn has grown from a two-piece extension of Furgeson's collaborations with college bandmate Brian Garvey to a four-piece folk-rock orchestra with a sound and drive unto itself. Bark Hide and Horn and Boy Howdy Records celebrate the release of 'National Road' on August 16th at Holocene (Portland), followed by a weeklong West Coast tour.
