Lyndon Cornwill

I am a guy who just loves to play the guitar, or more specifically blues guitar. Over the years I have played most genres of music but seem to keep coming back to The Blues. I’ve done my time in rock, heavy metal, cabaret, and cover bands, (Sheer Heart, Suzie & the boys, Back to Back, Malboro, Gemini, and many more). Now I am trying to make my way in the blues scene. I have been lucky enough to be able to get a few plays with The Andrea Marr Band at some of her gigs, Lloyd Spiegel, Mike Beale from MIB, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Dave Ball, Greg Dodd from Dutch Tilders and Andrea Marr Band, Jimi Hocking, Damon From The Little Freddie Kings, Sweet Felicia from Chris Wilson Band, Synergy Blue, The Smokin Sam Salzone Allstars, Bag O Nails, Riley Jordan & Cres Crisp, Steve Welsh, British India, and Heaps of other legends in the Australian music scene, at various jams, gigs and MBAS show cases. And I am grateful to all these people and others I have forgotten to name for the guidance, advice and experience they have given me on my way to being a better guitarist and person. I am an ex committee member with the MBAS and love the fact that I got to meet, promote, assist, and play with some outstanding musicians, and people in general because of that fact. As well as all this I have two children whom I love with all my heart and soul for the lessons they teach me every day. I am currently playing in my own band BLUEZ DELUXE, THE PHOENIX BLUES BAND, THE MBAS ALLSTARS, and at various jams around Melbourne. And yes i'm one of those wankers who names his guitars.
