About Me

I am a spunky, smart-ass, opinonated tomboy with a secret girly streak. I spend a lot of time on my "soapbox" and tend to be "no holds barred" honest and don't always realize that I've said something I shouldn't. When I get mad I get nasty and sarcastic, but otherwise I'm pretty easy to get along with. Ok, the best way to sum me up: Every time you think you know all there is to me I'll go and do or say something that will totally change your perception of me.
What else? I cook, that's what I do, I'm a chef, I do it because I love it, it sure as hell isn't for the money or fame. I have a tendency to despise "celebrity chefs."
Hey! She kinda looks like me!
You Are an Excellent Cook
You're a top cook, but you weren't born that way. It's taken a lot of practice, a lot of experimenting, and a lot of learning.
It's likely that you have what it takes to be a top chef, should you have the desire... Are You A Good Cook?
So,....if you wanna know something else you're gonna have to message me and ask.

My Interests

Well, I'll try anything once, twice if I like it. I'm in to yoga and do it every chance I get (if you're really stressed and/or frusterated try some stress-relieving poses with rock music, like Linkin Park, trust me!) I love to travel, but unfortunatly don't get to as much as I would like to. I take in stray animals. I write, a lot, a lot of blogs. I'm really into music, I play a little piano and a little guitar, and I was a little drummer girl in high school and try to keep up with the local music scene here. I prefer hot tea to coffee, vanilla to chocolate, jeans to dresses, liquor over beer, and veggies over fruits. I tend to be totally random and I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little crazy, but then again I never claimed to be well-adjusted. What else do you want to know? Email me and ask.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

This is such a long list! Mostly rock (classic, 80's, alternative, indie), but everything (and I literally mean "EVERY genre") has made it onto a mix cd at one time or another.

A lot of famous acts (The Beatles, Foo Fighters, U2, The Killers, Simon and Garfunkle, Incubus, Evanescence, Green Day, Train, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Fall Out Boy, etc.), a lot of artists most people have never heard of (Butch Walker, Liz Phair, Tracy Bonham), and way too many local/indie acts to list here, but check them out in my friends section!

You Are an Indie Rocker!
You are in it for the love of the music...
And you couldn't care less about being signed by a big label.
You're all about loving and supporting music - not commercial success.
You may not have the fame and glory, but you have complete control of your career. What Kind of Rocker Are You?

Movies:

I'm a movie critic in my own mind, so this list is far too long, but here's a few that I can watch over and over again:

Across the Universe, Reality Bites, Iron Jawed Angels (every girl/woman should watch this!), The Boondock Saints, The Shawshank Redemption, The Yellow Submarine, The Harry Potter movies, Waiting..., Practical Magic, Dangerous Beauty, Band of Brothers (So what if it was actually a mini-series!), Dead Poet's Society, RENT, this list could go on for quite sometime!

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, House, LOST, Supernatural, Sex and the City re-runs, I started watching Scrubs because it comes on right after SatC and it's hilarious, and sometimes I watch Bones.

But don't get me started on American Idol, Food Network Shows, or Rachel Ray anything (I think that she's secretly a puppy-kicker!)

Heroes:

I admire a lot of different people for a lot of different things and it seems unfair to single any particular individual out when there are so many people who inspire me to be more than I am.
