I am slightly complicated,
but absolutely dedicated,
at the little things I get elated,
driven and determined I am motivated,
those who lack ambition leave me irritated,
I will achieve my goals without being aided,
these rhymes are mine and procreated,
I'm tired of having to be vindicated,
I believe that sex is underrated,
I feel like honesty should be mandated,
no lies or deception be perpetrated,
violence and hate should be eradicated,
so unfair it is to feel violated,
no need for people to feel degraded,
pain and suffering could be alleviated,
learning from mistakes I would not have traded,
in past relationships I have been jaded,
not that it mattered it was anticipated,
from those I learned lessons and separated,
but my outlook on life has never faded,
mistakes I've made won't be duplicated,
to dwell in drama I could never be persuaded,
it would leave me feeling asphyxiated,
for the "perfect one" I have awaited,
when she appears life will be illuminated,
her beauty in and ex-ternal won't be imitated,
finally falling in love will be initiated,
from "love" to "in love" I will have graduated,
the doubts that I harbor will be emancipated,
and the love in my heart will be reverberated.
I enjoy meeting new people, even though I'm not a social butterfly... I will people-watch for a while before making small-talk. This often times get misconstrued as shyness, ...ok, maybe it is shyness... whatever... That's just me!!
