Band Members: Gary Harrell - You know, when you get to be old like I am there could potentially be a real long bio. Fortunately, most of the stuff has long been forgotten and I'm forced to just make up a bunch of really cool junk.I'm 45 going on ancient, been playing guitar for more than 30 of it. I started writing as soon as I started playing, which basically means I was too lazy to learn other people's music. I've always seen the guitar as just a toy, not an instrument. Therefore, I don't see myself as a musician, or a guitarist. That implies that I actually know what I'm doing, when, in reality, I don't. So, I just call myself a guitar "player" who likes to sometimes sing when I play.I grew up pretending to play along with real musicians such as Santana, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower and Neil Young among others. Writing, however, is what got me through some of the icky periods in life. Sometimes these songs were funny like the famous "Roger, You're So Fat and Ugly", written at the tender age of 15 or 16, or the ultra-depressing "The End(it may be sooner than you think)" written at age 19. Both of these songs can be heard in your own mind if you try really, really hard, because I choose to only play these on very rare occasions. But, we all must grow up (yeah, right).Music is one of God's great gifts to us!!I hope you enjoy my music.
Influences: The Beatles, Santana, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Phil Keaggy, Neil Young, The Carpenters, The Carpenter
Sounds Like: Though I don't believe a word of it, the following is a list of people some have said I sound like: Santana, Paul Kantner, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, James (JY) Young.Though I don't see it when I look in the mirror, some have said I look like: Rob Thomas, Steve Zahn.

Broken Dam - Napa, California

If any of you are from Napa, you may know this place.  By now though, it may not exist anymore due to erosion, sprawl, climate change, or just us former kids who messed it up for everyone else.&n...

CIRCUS

I wrote Circus back in the late 80s. It was another one of those songs that took just a short time to write. Hey, it's four chord rock n roll. Not such a difficult thing, I know. It was my take o...
