Streaming on the page are clips of the 5 songs off of the new EP...take a listen and if you like what you hear please help support us by buying the album!Chase the Tale was formed in early 2005 and began as an acoustic collaboration between singer/songwriters Jeff Rohde and Joe Prothero. After a few jam sessions it became obvious that there was a musical connection between Jeff and Joe. They began gigging all over Cleveland/Akron/Canton playing various bars and clubs. In 2006 they decided to expand to a full band adding drummer Steve Moore and other side musicians such as Andy Basinger (keyboards) and Bobby Pyles (guitar). Now equipped with a wide range of fellow musicians the band began headlining shows all over Northeast Ohio. In early 2007 they began recording their first EP "Crystal Blue Skies" at the famous Lava Room Studios in Cleveland, a year later the much anticipated disc is now available for purchase.
