HOW I CAME TO THE LORD It was the most unforgettable experience of my life. When I went to Israel for the first time in 1995 with the church my Grandmother invited me. I was not a Christian then. It was a Pentecostal conference in Jerusalem and I think it was Reinhard Bonnke that was preaching. As i sat there in there in the congregation, something so POWERFUL happened suddenlly and remember it like it was yesterday.
The Lord JESUS, yes the King of Kings, spoke to me with an audible voice. I mean actually spoke to me! I cant describe it in words but I'll do my best. It was supernatural! HIS soft and gentle voice was like many waters, like a magnificent wave but so gentle cutting through me. The Anointed One JESUS, spoke to me. I heard it inside and outside of me. It was so beautiful. In revalation the Bible talks about His Word and also His Tongue and that the Word is sharper than any two edged sword and it's true that is exactly what happened to me. The Words JESUS spoke to me were simple. He said "Let me in!" He wanted me to let Him into my heart. His presence alone caused me to weep such deep tears. Even after that day for two whole days I just wept and wept my past life away.
Just as the Lord JESUS called me upon my return, a tripple platinum selling group called The Brand New Heavies said that their lead singer Endia was leaving the band so they thought it fit that I was a perfect singer in their eyes to take her place. They wanted me so badly, I was awed, but decined. They tried many things at this stage to convince me, even my sister, but I still declined. The awesome encounter with JESUS was so potent inside me that even though the contract was over £3 million pounds. Imean this was my dream, that I always wanted instant fame and cash, but I still said NO! and YES to JESUS. So then they offered the deal to Sader Garret.
I personally beleive that people in the world are being deceived by lights, the bling and the music of Satan! Thus he succeeds to get the people to worship people whom we call pop stars that have international success. Music was made to worship GOD before we humans existed only to give HIM Glory. Therefore, when Satan fell I beleive he said to GOD who is going to worship you now after taking a third of the angels with him. Then God just picked up some dirt and created man and blew breath into him.
Paula Alysha Warren began to nurture her gift at the tender age of four years, standing on a chair, ministering at her local New Testament Church of God. She was frequently asked to sing there and also at larger congregations, giving her the chance to experience the power of gospel music. From her infant years her name travelled in the Christian community as far as the USA church headquarters where unknown to her, she would travel later in her life to sing a different style of music.
Being raised in church all her life, Paula decided to leave at the age of fourteen and began to pursue a career in pop music. Soon enough she landed a record deal with RCA records. After this contract agreement, Paula had a number one hit in the national charts with a record she wrote named "Touch me" and was then offered a record and publishing deal with Polydor and Warner Bros.
During her career in the pop industry, Paula had the advantage of working with some of the world's most famous singers, producers and songwriters especially in the USA. She was asked to sing lead for Michael Jordan TV commercial. Another highlight in her pop career was a performance on an American sitcom "Another World" where she sang with recording Artist Atlantic Starr.
On 25 Janaury 1998, Paula made a decision to sign a deal with her heart which was greater than any record company could offer and returned to her faith "Well not that she's turning down any Gospel Offers' (LOL). She joined RUACH Ministries afer singing in the choir for a while and became a Praise and Worship leader. Paula worked with Gospel artist Donnie McClurkin and ministered singing solo on the RUACH Live album. Paula wishes to promote her love for the LORD and encourge others to do the same.
