Jeff Bass is best known from "The Bass Brothers", team of Mark and Jeff Bass, the Detroit producers responsible for grooming rapper Eminem in his early days and collaborating on much of his subsequent music. Before that they worked with George Clinton. Tracks from those sessions ended up on the P-Funk All Stars album Dope Dogs.On their work with Eminem Mark and Jeff Bass are credited as F.B.T. Productions.
Jeff Bass won a Best Song Oscar in 2003 for co-writing "Lose Yourself" from the film 8 Mile. He has also won Grammy Awards for his work with Eminem.
The brothers have decided to separate and producer Jeff Bass now has his own production company called "Jeff Bass Music". He is based in Detroit Michigan working in a state of the art studio. Artist's that Jeff has written and produced for consist of: Eminem, D12, Obie Trice, 50 Cent, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Cashis, T.I., JEM, Jully Black, along with many others.
