About Me

Hello I'm Sandro Tskitishvili. I come from The Rep. of Georgia. This band is actually an one-man project of melodic electronic / new age music. It all started in late 2006 (December it was, as I remember), when a friend of mine, after an unsuccessful try to form a Power Metal band, gave me some music-making softwares... Since I'd been writing some instrumental music for for quite a time on my classical guitar, I thought back then I'd be nice to rearrange (or "re-program") it in electronic way; And because it would be all-software based there wouldn't be any problem of recording quality in sight, as opposed to acoustic guitar.First I tried to rearrange the simplest material I had, then with bit-by-bit growing software knowledge the music grew more complicated. A little time after, I started composing mainly directly by software, with only minimal help of guitar. So the first album is almost 100% guitar-written, when fourth one (and last, so far) has almost completely "electronic" roots...As said above, LaoZi's music belongs to the mellow side of Electronic music, with strong focus on melody and a little bit of Prog sometimes. Compositions and sound are also diverse, ranging from Kitaro and Yanni-styled compositions to ones reminiscing Klaus Schulze or even classical composers. The Discography:1. Flowers For Nina (2006/07) 2. When The Meanings Alter... (2007) 3. Floating Flame (2007) 4. Saturnian Tides (2008) 5. Three Days Off / Happy Birthday (Single, 2008)The project is under further development right now, so wait for newer releases!
