My name is Joshua Rainey and I live on Staten Island in New York City. I consider myself a Certified Geek. I'm into Superheroes, Sci Fi and Subway Sandwiches.
I am a writer currently working on several comic book and movie scripts. I have written a number of produced shorts. You can see one on this page titled, "The Beauty of Hours". I also have a page for it if you want to know more about the story and some behind scenes trivia.
I have finished writing a sequel and it should be in production sometime this year.
I am associated with the most Talented People on Staten Island and I encourage you to experience what they have to offer. I am working on links to their pages however you can clink onto All Friends and find their pages there. I also have some other pages I created and I hope you will visit them as well.
I have listed some pages of people who have influenced or contributed to my life in some way shape or form. This page is primarily for Comic Book stuff but I on occassion will add things of a relative nature.
My Attack Saturn page is all about my Sci Fi interest and I am in the works of developing a Zombie/Horror page, so stay tuned.
Check out my friend Lance Reha's page. He has just finished work on his movie "Eviction". I am an extra in the movie as a zombie. You can see me in the trailer a couple of times.

Hey all you artist out there or people who know artist who want to break into the business--I'm trying to get my foot in the door as well and I have heard several times the industry doesn't look for writers, they look for artist. I don't know why they just look for artist--they're aren't selling sketch books. Somebody has to write it right? Well, I was told that if I wanted to break into the business I should find a good artist and partner up with them. If they get invited in maybe they can help sneak me in. So any artist want to do a team up drop me a line. What ever we work on has to be an already established character, nothing we made up and it can't be a biggy it has to be someone that hasn't been used in a while. I'm a DC guy but I will go with other publishers. Let me know where I can view your work and what you want to work on. I'll do some research on the character and send you some ideas. We'll talk money and all that stuff once we get a feel for each other. I'm only looking to work with one person so please no artist teams. You have to be professional and your work has to be up to industry standards. And don't worry about geography, we can work via e-mail and such. But you have to be willing to travel to New York when things are set in motion. I'm not shopping this stuff around by myself. Thank you.
