Carlicia’s vocals have a kind of laid-back confident swagger, but talk to her about her music and she has all the exuberance of someone on the brink of greatness. Her songs are memorable, straightforward and honest, full of spirit and a passion for communicating. Influenced by Bob Marley, 2-Pac and Alicia Keys, Carlicia has been performing for her family, first in Spanish then in English for most of her life. “It’s a natural gift from the heart,” Carlicia cites her mom and other family as huge supporters who are fully behind her, “my mom cries when she hears my music.”
