Being a dj for the last 7 years has been something that, although I get board with every job I have ever worked, mixing music that I love will always be a passion to me. It is a gift of God, and to hide such a gift would make me not worthy of that gift... so , I am a self proclaimed giving dj that gives gifts that give themselves.... MUSIC.
I luv music.. always have and always will.
I have been making up songs since i was 4 and playing the guitar and piano by ear since 14
In the mid 90's
I first got involved in the whole electronic music thing when I was helping do shows by lending some of my equipment out to performers that were doing the whole industrial techno sound ( like NIN or KMFDM ) in Grand Rapids Michigan.
In the late 90's
started to attend underground events every weekend in Chicago Ill. where I fell in love with the art of DJing... and house music^
I was fascinated by them taking different records and making it where the music never stopped all night :)
Even though now alot of the music I spin now is digital due to ease of access to unreleased tracks ... I will however always continue to buy records to spin at clubs ^.^
theres just a different vibe to a dj that can spin records and prove that the mixes he's doing are not digitally assisted.
Records just sound different anyhow, I think due to records being lower hrtz in frequency :)
Its like taking one of my pink floyd or Doors albums that I have in my collection and comparing it to the cd version ... records are better ^.^

In 2001 bought my first pair of Technic 1200 turntables and mixer and have been addicted to dance music and records ever since :)
Using creative mixing techniques to create an entirely new song out of two or more tracks for the last 7 years, has brought me to numerous amounts clubs from Mobile Alabama all over and into the panhandle of Florida... as well as doing underground events,festivals and house party's through out the area.
I mostly play what you can hear on my mixtape demo on my page
dirty electro house
but have been known to jump genres amd play drum and bass remixes of hot hip hop and reggae joints

I play a lot of female vocal tracks and top 40 remixes because I try to base my music selection around what can get the pretty girls to dance, as thats what will fill a dance floor the fastest ;)
... but i play what ever i want to :)
its a balance of playing what they want to hear and what they need to hear ^.^
