I am doing a Law degree and it has caused me to become a bit of a waster, I spend most of my time procrastinating or sleeping, drinking tea and eating white kit kats. In previous times I used to have an interest in music, composing (in G minor), writing (or analysing), books, politics and history. Basically anything opinionated and waffley.
At present I'd most like to meet my brother who has gone off travelling the world once again. Don't tell him I want him back because it would only fuel his vanity. Greeks, I've decided they are my favourite nationality. I'd also like to meet anyone with good phrasing, I'm a bit of a freak like that. Most of the people I'd actually like to meet are dead...So I'll make do with Dermot Murnaghan. I know he's married but I fancy him all the same. I'd like to meet Bill O'Reilly so I can gag the idiot, and I never, ever want to meet Les Dennis.
Everything and anything, as long as its good. Those worthy of mentioning include;David Bowie, Prince, Donovon, Velvet Underground, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, Miles Davis, Kate Bush, Nina Simone, Louis Armstrong, Kraftwerk, Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, Etta James, The Cure, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Nick Drake, Pulp, Belle&Sebastian, Thrills, Delays, Joanna Newsom, Camera Obscura, Blood Arm, Duke Spirit, Camille, Sufjan Stevens, Field Music, Stereolab, Au Revoir Simone, The Chalets, Klaxons, The Rapture, CSS, Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Maximo Park, Red Organ Serpent Sound, Zutons, Nine Black Alps, Mystery Jets, Futureheads, Ratatat, Leornard Bernstein, all Danny Elfman soundtracks (I have an unhealthy obsession), Bernard Hermann, Telemann (the man who made the recorder sound cool... to me anyway), Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Holst, Bartok and many many more... not forgetting the love of my life Mr Devendra Banhart.
I like alot of films, particularly, Annie Hall, Dr Zhivago, Big Business, Evita, Rebel without a Cause, Breathless, Rebecca, Gone With the Wind, Six Degrees of Separation, Amelie, I Heart Huckabees, A Time To Kill, East of Eden, The Royal Tenebaums,Zoolander, Mr Holland's Opus, Shawshank Redemption, Edward Scissorhands and most recently The Count of Monte Cristo (Thank you Janine, I do enjoy a good sword fight)...
I've been known to be partial to a bit of Most Haunted now and again, CSI, Criminal Minds, Law & Order (do we see a pattern emerging?...) and also any documentary by Lord Robert Winston.
The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights, The Beautiful and Damned, Bleak House, Vanity Fair and anything by Jane Austen... I do love my classics.
Daddy Warbucks, Bo, St. Ursula, Robert Winston, Derek Acorah and Vivien Leigh Aye, so I had a Scarlett obsessed childhood... Jessica Fletcher was also a childhood hero. ..
