The unique concept:
Street Performer provides education, training and entertainment to people regardless of cultural background, age, race, religion, gender, ability or disability and any other factor traditionally recognised as being a cause of discrimination or exclusion.
Street Performer works proactively to include those at risk, or already the victims of exclusion, from Society. It empowers the disadvantaged by promoting cohesive behaviour and social inclusion within society through education & life long learning.
Street Performer will develop participation in performing arts and skills. It will teach people to relish the challenges and opportunities that arise from diversity.
Focus groups will identify people who face or have been excluded from society and look at realistic and achievable solutions.
Street Performer will run workshops, courses, seminars, exhibitions and projects in the five Olympic London Boroughs. These will culminate in an international, televised, showcasing festival, “The World is Your Oysterâ€, celebrating the culturally diverse talent.
