The Story of "The Desert Rosies" :Once upon a time, long long ago, in a land far far away, there was a drummer, a bass player, a guitarist and a singer. First they did not know each other. They lived their lives happily with their family and friends. But one day these four guys had to go to the kindergarten. That’s were the bass player and the guitarist got to know each other. After three years, the bass player and the guitarist had become very good friends. But unfortunately they both had to move on to primary school, and so they got separated, as the guitarist had to go to another school in a land even more far far away. For many years the guitarist and bass player didn’t hear of each other, and so the friendship was nearly forgotten. But by God’s will the bass player and the guitarist would meet again when they had to move on to secondary school. There they met again, and the bassist introduced the guitarist to a new friend of him, the drummer. After some time the bassist, the drummer and the guitarist became good friends. Another day the drummer and bassist decided to form a music band. The drummer and the bassist formed a band with some other friends. They were first called, Khalid Puket Nebula. Some time later they formed the band ‘Orbit Grinder ‘with some new friends. While playing in Orbit Grinder, the drummer and the bassist formed a second band with a very talented young guitar player, the band was called Valefor. One day after a gig of Orbit Grinder, the drummer and bassist decided to leave Orbit Grinder and concentrate more on Valefor. Orbit Grinder kept going with a new drummer and bassist. Together in Valefor the bassist, the drummer, and the talented young guitar player made their first real songs. And great joy was among the new band as they felt that they now really started to learn the secrets of music. They did a few gigs and then knew they needed a second guitarist. They found a new guitarist, the guitarist. That’s when the drummer, the bassist and the guitarist were together in a band for the first time. The talented guitar player, the guitarist, the drummer, and the bassist made a few songs, and did a few gigs. But not everything went as expected and unfortunately the band quit after a year. For a time not much was heard about the drummer, the guitarist and the bass player, the subject nearly fell in the depths of the valley of forgetfulness. But soon the bassist, the drummer and the guitarist pick up their instruments again and formed a new band. And again great joy was among the band members as they had longed to play together again. The played together a few times and tried to make a few songs but they knew that they needed a voice to make real music. That’s where the singer comes into play. They met the singer and became good friends. They tried a few songs together and things really worked out well with the singer. And so the singer, the drummer, the bass player and the guitarist formed the band ‘Swordsmen of The Confusing Car Crash. They kept on making music and had much of fun and joy during rehearsals. But one day the drummer, the bass player, the singer and the guitarist came together and had a serious discussion about the band name; “Swordsmen of The Confusing Car Crash†was indeed a quite retarded name. So they thought very long and quiet about a new name, but inspiration did not yet come, the four musicians had quite a hard time finding a new name. But eventually they came up with a new name: “ The Desert Rosies “. And once again there was great joy among the band members as they finally succeeded in finding a band name. As “The Desert Rosies†the band rehearsed many times and came up with ‘plenty’ of new songs. Well … Maybe not that much but still they were happy when they were able to create a new song and celebrated each time with bottles of wine and beer. After sometime they met another guitar player who was willing to join the band on their journey to search for new kinds of music. The band celebrated the entry of the new guitar player with lots of joy and beer and wine and some other things too. And so “The Desert Rosies†became a real band and lived long and happily and made lots of music.So this, dear children, is the great story of “ The Desert Rosies†. And now you should all go to bed and sleep because tomorrow is just another busy day.
