Jack in the Green

About Me

That was the sound of Jack's footsteps that you heard behind you. A friend of yours told him that you were often to be seen down around the Lane and Jack wanted to see for himself if it were true or not. True it was and, while you were there smiling at all the people and showing off the flower in your hair, Jack was watching you from the roof tops. Crouched between the tiles and the stars he is. You can hear his whispered words as the South West wind blows through the Autumn branches of the trees. Jack is repeating your name, veiled in black next to the moon, under the skeleton skies.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Philip plays guitar, a bit like Ziggy! Dan Luck plays guitar with his ears and, man, you should see that for a feat. Luckily he also sings, otherwise you wouldn't know the words. Trish plays the cello, unlike Ziggy.. Who knows what else may go on? Jack watches from hiding places and secret vantage points during each gig and beyond. The photos below at Unclubbed@thegac and those in the studio were taken for us by Rory. If you want to see more of his photos, including others from the Unclubbed sessions, you can go to his site at www.myspace.com/upror
Influences: Folk and traditional song. Blues and bluegrass. The moon in high gardens.
Sounds Like: The south west wind trying to get into your house. A corn man crawling around outside your window. A lurker in the lane. Laying low along branches. Jack in the Green, leaping over roof tops to get to you.
Record Label: Unsigned

When the Wind Blows

Late Night Bars and the Sound of the Stars

So merrily merrily went the evening that, by the time it was over, I'd hardly even had time to realise it had begun. We rattled down the Lane, thoughts bumping in heads, jangling souls like keys on a ...
