THEO ALTIERI

About Me

YOU ARE LISTENING TO THEO ALTIERI. I'm a YOUNG solo artist, performing a mix of indie folk music. Live, some of the set includes original acoustic tracks, some electric, and lOTS of different features through out the set. Have recorded some new material which i've arranged myself and played all the instruments.
2008 was VERY busy, highlights have been Sugarhill festival, Supporting From-The-Jam's front man Russell Hastings, Party on the Green, Riffstock, Teenage Rampage Tour and many others. I went to buy a guitar at Birmingham NEC MUSIC LIVE and won the Buskers competition judged by Editor of PLAY magazine!
2009 looks even better; supported Roses Kings Castles (Babyshambles Adam Ficek)!, Great Escape @ Brighton, Bath International Music Festival & WOOD festival amongst many others.
Also winning the unsigned competition to win a slot @ Bristol Harbour Festival was fantastic!.. Have recorded a couple of my latest tracks in Portishead's studio, Bristol earlier in the year and have been working on other new material that I can't wait to record.
LISTEN, COMMENT...If you have the chance-come to see it all live at a gig.

WOOD 2009 REVIEW (www.efestivals.com)
"At just twelve years old, Theo Altieri, has within him the ability to embarrass the rest of the music industry with his astoundingly developed talent for songwriting and performing. Altieri, armed with only an acoustic guitar and a loop-pedal, treated the small crowd to a heartfelt set which shocked and thrilled at the same time. 'Never For Ever' is a surprisingly introspective examination of life, whilst 'The Thinker', although unpolished, showcases Altieri's wonderful ear for a hook and his frankly remarkable ability to full effect."
