Sail by the Stars [NEW SONG AND VIDEO UP NOW!!!!]

Tuesday, May 5th NEW...EVERYTHING!!!!
Hey Guys,
First off, we know there has been some confusion due to our member changes, but we want to clear that up now:) Sail by the Stars split ways with Darren and Corey due to some personal differences but we still love them! We are proud to bring aboard and introduce our new members Billy and Aaron (formerly in the band Linden). So please give them a warm welcome, and we hope you're as excited as we are:)
ALSO, as you can see we have a new layout,pictures, and video to support our new songs we are almost finished recording. A new song should be available for listening very SOON!
So please keep an eye out and check back for updates:)

Wedneday, April 1st Gearin' Up for Tour! :)
Hey guys! We are gettin' ready to hit the road once again! We are super excited!
We are are STILL adding shows, so keep checking back if we are playing near you! :)

Sunday, March 15th New Tour April 10th-26th
So guys, our first tour as a band is now over! But we will be back on the road in the beginning of April! :)

Sunday, November 30th New Show!!!
Hey! I just wanted to let you all know, that i'll be playing my first show on December 26th, at backbooth in Orlando, Florida. The show will be with Go Radio, Karrigan, and A Cover Story. Doors open at 6, and i'm playing first so be there early!!! =]

I'm so excited. There are so many cool cool things going on, a lot of different people are helping out, and were working very hard!

For those of you visiting for the first time, welcome. My name is Josh. Thank you so much for taking time to check out my music, it seriously means the world to me! =]
I am a 1 man band, i play all of the instruments in the music you hear. I'm just some kid that loves to make music, and i'll do it til the day i die.
On November 4th, i will be releasing my first CD entitled A Sunshine State of Mind via iTunes and Smartpunk. 2 of the tracks are posted above, "Icebergs are for Penguins" and "April Showers Bring May Flowers".

Sail By The Stars is a five piece pop-rock outfit hailing from the finer pastures of Omaha, Nebraska. The band plays uplifting, bright pop tunes, complete with acoustic flourishes and an airiness that's cool as a summer's breeze. The project originally blossomed from the mind of lead singer/songwriter, Joshua Koterba, who was inspired to create songs that were not only positive and inspirational, but meaningful as well.
Throughout Fall 2008, Joshua wrote and recorded the debut EP, "A Sunshine State of Mind," all on his own. The album was released on November 4th, 2008 through iTunes and Smartpunk.com and quickly garnered the attention of online publications such as The Daily Chorus, Absolutepunk and Decoymusic. Shortly after the release, Joshua armed himself with a group of his closest friends (Aaron Wesselman, Josh Kay, Cody Garrison and Billy Toti) to embark on tour.
Since then, the friends have grown inseparable and are now full time members. Equipped with a strong desire to share the music they love with as many people as possible, the band will be constantly touring the next few months and plan on releasing new music this summer. With only the stars to guide them, these five friends plan on sailing far beyond everyone's expectations.
