Turin, January 23, 2008Dear friends,We are pleased to announce that RADIO EFFECT – RADIO SPACE, a new independent live music program, is on its way to the internet music scene starting on February 8, 2008. RADIO EFFECT – RADIO SPACE will be regularly broadcasted on the second and the last Friday of each month on the radiodigitale.info web radio. The two-hour live program (9-11pm) will be available for downloads the following days: check the radiodigitale.info homepage.RADIO EFFECT – RADIO SPACE will give lesser-known Italian and foreign musicians on Myspace the opportunity to be listened to. These guys are not quite renowned yet (maybe just in some specific musical environments), but they absolutely deserve attention.RADIO EFFECT – RADIO SPACE will be hosted by the three of us: The Ghost Effect. We will contact each band (or solo artist) well in advance through Myspace in order to put together an evening specifically dedicated to them. Due to ‘elective affinities’, we will privilege indie, rock, new wave, dark, electronics and industrial musical genres. We believe that a ‘space’ such as this is a good way to let your music play; we therefore trust in your collaboration to make this program more and more interesting and with an ever-increasing number of followers and supporters. The more people listen to us, the more they will listen to you! Finally, you are invited to report to us about other good bands deserving their own new ‘space’: we’ll be delighted to listen to their music and in case invite them to the program.Typical broadcast set up: two artists will be hosted each time according to the following scheme: - a short biography, address and contacts - broadcasting of at least 4 songs with the consent of the artist (and his record label). The artist will have to provide us with the mp3/AAC or wav audio files of the songs (downloadable from Myspace, website or Skype).
