Jack Kerouac was a famous writer from the 1950's and one of the founding fathers of the 'beat generation.' Loose, maniacal, and free spirited, Kerouac's personality and writing style was a culmination of a middle finger and a buzzed chuckle towards conventional society and literature. While combining a rejection of mainstream American values and a springy middle finger that pushes the streams of sonic fueled consciousness along, I've always felt I have had a lot of things in common with Kerouac.
