About Me

I'm 52 yrs. young, married, retired flight attendant, with a wonderful husband, grandchildren, children and a dog a I love with all my heart. I'm in what my husband affectionally calls the "bonus" round of life due to my brain tumor and operation of a couple of years ago and I believe he's right. I believe in God, and because of that it makes happy and enjoy lots of other things in life. I love to read and listen to music. I will read anything and enjoy things that make my imagination sparkle hence my love of fairies. Also, as you will see further down, I do have my dark side as I also enjoy vampires, werewolfs and Frankenstein. My family is Scottish, Irish, French and German, who can blame me.

My Interests

I adore Audrey Hepburn, Sandra Dee, Elizabeth Taylor, and the Classic Horror films. Anything with Frankenstein, werewolves, and Vampires. I adore Abbott and Costello. I also enjoy doing garden work with vegetables, and flowers. My personal favorite is the hibiscus. I love the Victorian style. I enjoy beautiful scenery with waterfalls and beaches. Nothing beats listening to good music or crawling up on the couch to read a good book.

I'd like to meet:

First off please no SPAMMERS! I am interested in friendships and nothing else. I am a loyal friend so I enjoy loyal people as well. I get along with a vast amount of people so I am interested in making many new different friends.

Music:

I love music and many different kinds. I enjoy Mozart, Beethoven, Patsy Cline, Big & Rich, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Reba McIntire, Live, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Heart, REM, Reo Speedwagaon, No Doubt, Journey, Chicago, Toto, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, 80's and 90's music any thing I can dance to. There are so many I am unable to remember at the moment.

Movies:

Wizard of Oz, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Casablanca, My Fair Lady, the Alien Trilogy, Predator Trilogy,Underworld Series, Blade Series, Doom, Resident Evil, Evan Almighty, Baldes of Glory, Must Love Dogs, Deja Vu, Like I said earlier Classic Horror films, sci-fi, etc...

Television:

I am not a huge television watcher. If I am it would be the Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, Classic movies, reruns of the Sci-Fi "B" movies, all the CSI's and House Hunters.

Books:

Reading is probably my favorite past time. There is nothing better than getting lost in a good book. So I know I will leave out some great authors. The wonderful Kay Hooper, Tami Hoag, Christine Feehan,Iris Johanson, Patricia Cornwell, Clive Cussler, Stephen King,Dean Koontz, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, John Sanford, James Patterson, Anne Rice, Lori Handerland, Greg Iles,Ernest Hemingway, Edgar Allen Poe, The Left Behind series,etc...

Heroes:

As for having heroes, I can't say as I have any in that kind of way. I praise God and his Son Jesus. I have respect for our soldiers throughout history along with the police officers who daily put their lifes on the line for our safety.
