Eddy Boyle is a blues harmonica player hailing from Warrnambool in South West Victoria.
After picking up the harp from a young age it wasnt until hearing the song 'She's Tough' that 'Fast' Eddie began to take his harp playing seriously. Taking lessons from Andrew Fluke in Warrnambool presented Eddie with the opportunity to play with prominant South West Blues acts The Stumpjumpers and Slappin' the Cats.
Now, still at the young age of 17, Eddie has been cutting his teeth at local open mic nights with guitarist Dave Wright, as his stage presence and reputation quickly sky-rockets.
More recently 'Fast' Eddie Boyle is following in the footsteps of mentor Chris Wilson, and has performing with roots artist Tom Richardson at many venues and festivals including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Blues Train, Cornish Arms (Melbourne) and The Loft (Warrnambool).
In 2007, Eddie joined legendary performer Joe Camillerie and The Black Sorrows at the Portland Bay Music Festival and Geelong Water Front Cafe. Eddie also performs regularly with other prominent south west musicians such as Hayden Brodie, Luke Watt and SS Radio.
Fast Eddie Boyle is quickly becoming a household name in the Victoria music scene.
