About Me

Me? Well, let's see... Of course I want to travel, be successful, make a comfortable living, and make the people I care about proud. I've done a lot of growing up in the past couple of years after losing and gaining a few important people in my life. I have learned some hard lessons for someone my age, but I feel that I've gained a lot more appreciation for my life and the people in it. I have beautiful friends and a beautiful family (as much as I may complain about them). I care a lot about the people that I choose to surround myself with, so I try not to take them for granted. I'm extremely happy with the person I'm with. At this point, I'm really trying to get my priorities straight. I'm really afraid of disappointing people; especially my parents. They've already gone through enough, so I try not to give them any more reason to worry about me. I would generally consider myself a nice person. I usually get along with everyone, unless I have a legitimate reason not to. I try not to make too many opinions about something without being well informed first, but I try to be as open-minded as possible. I'm a pretty smart girl, although you probably won't pick that up from first impression. I would much rather be goofy than take things too seriously all the time. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give, so I guess this is the part where you decide whether or not you find me worthy of being your friend... :)

My Interests

"Forget the simple life; it is largely a myth anyway. Embrace the complexity of every day. Learn to appreciate and love it, for it is woven into the intricate fabric of your experiences."

and especially my big brother.
Should we still set his plate?
Should we still save his chair?
Should we still buy him gifts?
And if we don't, did we not care?
It makes you think about the life you've led,
Shit you've done, things you've said.
And it's grounding, grounding.
I've been feeling three feet tall this month,
hardly indestructible.
But the snow melts, and the rhythm still goes on.

An angel got his wings,
And we'll hold our heads up knowing that he's fine.
We'd all be lucky to have a love like that in a lifetime.
