About Me

Born in 1999, Their blend of melodic punk and old school stlye was a complete anomaly.. The dominant aesthetic of catchy punk and street punk style riffs allow a band to be witty and irreverent or melodic and tuneful. But D-toys pop-punk had a past and a future. Their sound was the offspring of the simple tune-heavy punk rock of the Ramones, who styled themselves as a rougher update of 60s pop and 50s greaser doo-wop during the mid-70s, creating a potent blueprint for the developing punk scene. D-toy also took their love for 90s punk icons such NOFX and Pennywise, Understated wit usually found on the other side of the pond.. Pop-punk is understood from any skate park, teenage bedrooms, to tiny punk clubs the world over. Considered a pop-punk band but playing music that is different and expanded.. - joanne marquez (P.U.P student) No stars No poseurs No fashionable shit!!!
