About Me

..
Thanks for stoppin by.My name's Red and I cannot believe that I've been "STYLIN AND PROFILIN " with Slick Ric for so many decades. I first met the Nature Boy and the Horsemen, over 20 years ago at the old Civic Center in Philadelphia, PA, an experience I will never forget. Don't get me wrong, Naitch wouldn't know me if he fell on me, and strutted over me, this is just a fansite, but the memories of the minutes I've spent with him will always be golden.
He still amazes me. When I was a child, I fell under the spell, cheered him on to his first World's title, through the Flair for the Gold, feuding with Big Dust,War Games, the Koloff's, the Road Warriors, Garvin, Funk, Steamboat, Gibson,HHH, Foley, I could go on for pages. The amazing part is that now after 30 years of being a fan, my own children watch the Nature Boy in action. I never imagined when I was cocky 16 year old, walking around with long blond hair, holding up 4 fingers that this man....THE MAN was going to supply me with entertainment for decades. Thank you, Nature Boy.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Aside from being a Flair fan, I work as a musician and songwriter, and pay the bills in the mortgage industry. I have been a wrestling fan since the late 1970's, can't believe all these years have passed. Can't even begin to determine favorite memories. Grew up loving the NWA, AWA, WWF, WCCW,UWF, and when ECW exploded, man was I glad I lived just across the River!! I lived about 3 miles from "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe's Monster Factory, and used to go to all their shows, which seeded my love of the independants.
A friend of mine trained with Larry, and we were asked to pick Blackjack Mulligan up at the airport, and drive him to their event in Wildwood,NJ. Spending an hour and a half in the car with Blackjack was amazing, to hear those stories first hand. And I was privileged to meet many other wrestlers at these events and through the years. A truly great group of guys.
I also can lay claim to the fact that when I was in High School, I worked at Friendly's and on a fairly regular basis, would make ice cream Sundaes for the Great King Kong Bundy!
I've got so many cool stories, but one that is a favorite was when Terry Funk took one look at my 8 and 5 year old sons and declared them future Tag Champs! Very cool, he's a great guy...
