Reeltime Audio

About Me

Reeltime Audio is a professional, full-service recording studio located in Denton, Tx, just North of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Founded in 1989 by producer and chief engineer Eric Delegard, the studio has grown, evolved and transformed, along side the music industry, to become a world-class, contemporary recording studio. Reeltime Audio has worked with local, national and clients from abroad to produce many major label albums, radio hits and several Grammy Award winning albums. All the while staying committed to remaining affordable and focused on artist and client creativity and satisfaction. Wether a demo, voice-over, full-album or a major label release ready to ride the radio airwaves and scale the charts, when created at Reeltime Audio they all share a common thread. Regardless of the nature of the project, clients can expect a dedication to perfection, quality and attention to detail often lacking in todays audio production. In a world of "bedroom studios", Reeltime Audio stands apart by offering clients and artists access to professional studio recording, with the expertise to go along, while working with your budget. Also offered at the studio are complete audio mastering services. Culminating in a great sounding, professional end result. A quick listen and look at Reeltime Audio alumni will demonstrate this better than words ever could.

The studio features the latest in digital and analog audio and music production equipment. Centering the studio's recording and mixing capabilities is a 52-input SSL console which features the desirable black "e" equalizers and total recall. This board comes from Nashville's Sound Stage Studios with a lineage of records by: Jimmy Buffet, Merle haggard, TLC, Waylon Jennings, Reba McEntire, etc.

Recording is done via Steinbergs Nuendo Media Production Software with 48 channels of Apogee convertors. Also available is a Sony 2-inch tape machine and pro-tools. The studio features one of the best assembly of outboard gear such as Neve, API, Wunder and Oram mic pre's and eq's. Urei, Teletronix, Universal Audio and Chandler compressors, and Lexicon, Eventide and Yamaha effects processors.

Reeltime Audio features a spacious control room with acoustics designed and optimized by Bob Suffolk at Suffolk Studio Designs. Bamboo floors run through the studio including the main recording room large enough for any band. Leisure accommodations are fulfilled by couches, isolation/lounge room with TV, PS2 and DVDs, free WiFi, and a comfy kitchen nook with refrigerator, microwave and assorted beverages. All in order to ensure your experience at Reeltime Audio is comfortable and productive.
