Ras Rob aka Ras Mwangizee found his way into the world of music at the tender age of 15 back in his native East Africa. Finding inspiration in reggae, dancechall and hip hop, he found himself mixing with other dj’s and learning the tricks of the industry.Arriving to Irish shores he hooked up with the Young DJ Academy and quickly became a regular face at the their workshops and events. Ras Rob compounded his skills and experience playing at many events for the academy. His unique musical style brought life to the dance floor and it was obvious that Rob had talent for identifying with a crowd and making people get off.His abilities and commitment to music were quickly picked up and he became a trainee facilitator at academy training workshops where many groups have benefited from his musical and technical knowledge. Ras Rob, still new to the Irish club scene is building up quite a reputation and his sets are becoming more popular than ever with a growing fan base developing on the Dublin scene.
