*********THE PURPOSE******************The purpose of the Cast Your Cares Cross is to give a visual reminder that your prayers and petitions have been set before GOD. As a believer you are not to worry about how, when, or where GOD will answer your prayer, but you are to trust in Him and His word knowing that He will do it. The CYC cross is a daily reminder that GOD is in control and He will answer your prayers. Writing down your prayers and pinning it to the CYC cross symbolize a releasing of your burden, anxiety, fear, and needs to GOD. So after you have prayed, written down your prayer, and pinned it on the CYC cross, every time yoou look at your petition hanging on the cross just say "Thank you GOD for answering my prayers."
*************** **THE DRAWER**************Beneath the cross is a keepsake drawer. Once GOD answers your prayers remove the paper from the cross and place it in the drawer. You can always look back on prayers that GOD has answered in the past to encourage you as you are waiting on current prayers to be answered.
