APOTHECARY

About Me

Laurence Malice presents the " Apothecary", London's latest addition to the UK's emerging and contemporary burlesque, cabaret & vaudeville scene. When you open the door and step inside, you'll discover the Victorian interior of an original, old London apothecary shop built in 1876, (the same year that St Pancras was completed), with mahogany display cabinets that once would have sold products of a bygone age.The term ‘apothecary’ was used to describe one who prepares and sells medicinal compounds. An apothecary shop was the shop in which an apothecary sold his wares, and gave advice to customers. The art and mystery of the apothecary is authentically captured in the rich surroundings and detail of the apothecary.Think burlesque or cabaret – and an outdoor garden bar, perfect for smoking with a grass section and those heaters that are essential all year round when you're partying in a city with weather as unpredictable as London. They are unleashing us on to Saturday nights and in return we have made ourselves more luxuriant and shinier than ever for you.Hip Hip still is the cream of London cabaret and Polly Cupcake is still your cat.
