Singer/Songwriter Tesni Jones started her career at the tender age of 14 were she recorded her first album.From the age of 17 Tesni became part of 3 piece girl group 'pheena' were she enjoyed 3 successful years including 2 top 10 welsh e.ps, 2 radio wales awards, a UK tour with boy-band Blue and several welsh television appearances. 2005 saw Tesni perform as a support act for the legendary TOM JONES for a special birthday celebration concert in Pontyprydd.By 2007 Tesni became part of a 6 piece boy/girl group XYP supported by successful songwriter/producer Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow. the band recorded their album in Real world studio's in Bath with several successful songwriters including Karen Poole, Pam Shayne and Rob Davies. based out in holland for 2 years the band enjoyed 5 top 10 singles and top 20 album including debut single 'body to body' reaching NUMBER 1 in the dutch pop charts.Tesni recently did backing vocals for Peter Kay aka Geraldine Mcqueen christmas single and performed along side Bryan Adams and Peter Kay at Sheffield city hall. currently performing all over the UK as a soloist and with 3 piece live band IBQ and working as a session vocalist and songwriter for several upcoming artists.
