Predominantly kicking around, scuffing our shoes and growing increasingly racked off with the fact that.....a) We're not living on the moon.....b) My office is still not paperless ( I blame Tomorrows World ).....c) Teleportation isn't real yet.....d) People still do not know how to drive on the motorway.....e) I need new shoes. Clearly something had to change - so - we decided to apply our colossal combined intellect to producing something more worthwhile. After watching the creative card making show on the VTQ channel we embarked on creating this musical parade. Fifty 2 Sixteen is the result of writing, playing, recording and producing song material across what seemed at the time to be several space time continuums. The generally umständlich direction taken was: Here's an idea - I like that let's do something with it - OK ------------ Several weekends later still working on idea No.1, idea No.2 occurs. Lets leave that until we've finished idea No,1, OK --------------- Several weekends later whilst still working on idea No.1 AND No.2, idea No.3 crawls up from the slime..............and so on until we were juggling enough balls to keep a ball manufacturer in coke and faux fur for life. Despite being frequently drunk, fiendishly clever and frighteningly naive, we always hoped, but never quite believed, that we would one day get to a place that said COMPLETED (which as my Grandma used to say "is a good place to be by the time you get to my age"). As it was, we very nearly didn't recognise the place when we did finally arrive, especially as the sign was in very small writing and hung on the back of the door. But here we are -and we have what we have - it was all a great deal of fun, Dixie has lived and died along the way and this is what remains. ____________________________________________________________
