my goal is to re-tell the whole story of my favorite video games via a familiar yet fresh sonic landscape. i'm also musically territorial, so i like to attack entire soundtracks, not just individual songs here and there. but if you think i've overlooked a song in a game that you wanted to hear arranged, let me know about it. i see all my projects as works-in-progress ... even the finished ones.
- a bit of background -
so my real name is daryl banner. but back in grade school, i mixed video game tunes and spread them over the web using the pseudonym amstrocity ... whatever that means (don't bother asking, i was 12 or 13 at the time and probably didn't know what it meant then, either. it sounds like monstrocity when you pronounce it right) ... anyway, life eventually took me over and i abandoned my mixing projects for a while, but now i'm back in it.
if you were raised on squaresoft or RPGs, are a fan of the final fantasy, chrono trigger, metroid, or zelda series, or know who the hell nobuo uematsu or yasunori mitsuda are ... then we got a lot in common already. enjoy!
