Imagine being gifted with so much potential, so much talent and creativity and not using it. Well, for 26-year-old Earnest "Rese" Wingo, that's what he felt he was doing. " From age 20-24, I was wasting time.I knew God had placed all these things inside me, but I wasn't focused and I wasn't determine to see them manifest in my life. I was just a dreamer." And so from 2000 to until late 2005, that's what Rese was, simply a dreamer. That is until December 2005 when he had an empiphany moment that would change his life forever. "I went through a lot of drama that year. From relationship issues, to money, and weight issues. It wasn't until around the Christmas that I had to take inventory over my life. I was like, "what am I doing?" I'm busting my hump to make someone else rich and plus, I'm not living my dreams. I kept hearing my dad's words in my mind about waking up at thirty and having nothing to show for it. I knew I had to change." And with that, Earnest began to blaze a new trail. First, he picked up an old novel manuscipt he started in 2002 and began re-writting it. It would take all of 2006 to complete, but in March 2007, Iniquity's Web was birthed. " 2006, all I did was sleep, eat, and drink that novel. I had to prove to myself that I could finish something.I remember seeing that manuscript in my clothes dresser and it haunting me. I never finished it, so I knew I had to." But although readers enjoyed it, there were some unexpected road blocks. "I didn't proof read too hard as I should have. There were typos galore, and I had to re-edited which was more money considering I self-published it, but it was worth it in the end." Now back on track, Rese is ready to re-launch Iniquity's Web in June 2007 and is hopeful for sucess. "I will do my part, but I know God will bless me."
In addition to writting Iniquity's Web, Rese is also working on his second novel called The Scent of Jasmine, working on a screen play and is working on orginal music he hopes to pitch to artist in the future. "Music is my first love. I started out playing keys in my church and writting songs, and I've always been a movie buff, so I'm just trying to fully use what God has given me."..
