About Me

It's hard to know where to start on a bio as such, but I guess I can start with the "Sir" part. I have never been knighted by the Queen, in fact I was knighted by a group of musicians at a gig a few years back, with a 1978 Fender Strat, by my good friend Buffalo Bob (Cheers Bob).I haven't really advertised this stuff since I was in the studio. Born and raised in Liverpool, England ..... been playing in bars and clubs since I was 12 years old (Thanks Pete). Also become a regular for the past 7 years at a local Blues and Jazz bar in Westport, MO.Played in several different countries around the globe either as a Backing Vocalist/Rythmn/Lead Guitarist or playing as myself in my own band. Since then I have been working on some new music. My last recording of my music was in 2001.I did backing vocals and lead guitar on "The Hats" world tour CD in 2004. While they were here in the US. And recently rerecorded with them in March of this year, when they came back in town. This year I returned home to the UK in June this year to perform a reunion charity gig with the band that got me started back when I was 14 years old. Incidentally they were all much older than me, most of which were in their late 20's early 30's at the time .... such bad influences but great guys .... Here's to "Kelly's Heroes".I have hundreds of things I love to do but outside of music I love bikes and riding so I want to also give a shout to my friends at MileHigh Madness Extreme Riders Club, please check them out !!!Thanks to all of you for your support. I don't want to sound like I'm receiving an Oscar, but thanks to my Mum for encouraging me to play and turning a blind eye when I did things I shouldn't. Thanks to my brothers and sisters, my kids, my friends for everything.... Of course all of you who actually listen to my work, your response has been awesome .....I should be back in the studio this year to record "Beautiful Girl" and I will let you know as soon as that happens ... Thank you everyone and keep listening.JamesPlease check these guys out, this is for our children a great cause, I'm sure you'll all agree !!!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
