Insane in the membrane!

About Me

Hi,I am Frederic. Born 39 years ago in the great city of Montreal, Canada, I moved in 1994 to the no less great city of Toronto, in search of, fame, fortune and happiness. Fame (my fans know me,lol) and happiness I have found, and my fortune is measurable in many ways: fabulous friends, a generally good health, a loving family.I speak French, Spanish, a lot of Italian and a bit of German. After an 11 year career in Life Insurance and Investments, a page is definitely turned and I am pursuing interests closer to my passions: food, bartending, Arts and Media etc. Right now, I workas a dispatcher for an armoured truck fleet. it is a full-time job but it's well paid and I am happy to be away from the financial world. I am also busy in other fields such as food writing, wine promos. If you want to know, you ask me.I am an avid reader, love everything that has to do with Culture, Arts and the Nightlife. Enjoy cooking, restaurants, great wine.I love to make people laugh and enjoy being the life of the party.Care to join MY space? Let me know about you and what we have in common!

I'd like to meet:

New friends to exchange ideas, thoughts and a good laugh with. The internet is a great thing and I am always up for a chat on MSN or Yahoo. I am also looking for people that I could actually socialize with in person as much as possible in Toronto, Montreal, New York City and elsewhere. The people I want to meet? Well, primarily people who are friendly, respectful, have a sense of humour and that enjoy their lives. I am partial to people who are artistic and creative, no matter what field you do work in. People who have open minds and enjoy an urban lifestyle. You see a city not as a source of pollution, traffic and crime but as a source of community, culture, fun, entertainment and endless social possibilities. You also see it not as a lifeless slab of concrete but as a living entity with a life of its own. Oh yeah, I am not on the net to find a wife, lol. I am single and available but I do believe relationships happen by themselves and are not available on command.I love the company of women thoroughly and do have some of my best friends that are women. So, keep that in mind! I also would like to meet some new guy friends in Toronto as most of my good buddies are in Montreal and New York City. WARNING: If I add you or accept you adding me, no matter where you live, it is because I would enjoy meeting you face to face at some point, whether you live in my city or at the other end of the world. I do not hide behind my computer and neither should you.I have already met quite a few of you (they know who they are) and am looking for more! A drink, a laugh, a shmoke and a pancake! Let's socialize! Well, not a smoke, really but you get my drift..
