About Me

I'm an Army Veteran now after spending four years in the military where I met the man of my dreams. I met my husband, Kris, working at a health clinic at Ft. Campbell, KY. Although he had been there longer, I became his supervisor of sorts because of my rank in the Army and my position in the clinic. I was the biggest *%$..@ to him for about a week or two that we accually worked together! I guess the whole tough chick thing worked cause we were married about three months later! And to add to the craziness, this was also only a few days before I deployed with the 86th Combat Support Hospital overseas! Kris deployed a short time after as well with the 327th Infantry!!! We spent the first year of marriage seperated about as far as two people can get without space travel! People have told me that the first year is the most difficult. . . you have no idea! He recieved a purple heart for the shrapnel he still carries in his leg, I was married and almost widowed in that first year. He returned from Iraq shortly after our first anniversary with all his fingers and toes (thank GOD) and we've only been seperated for brief periods for military training.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people with similar interests in honestly doing their part to make this world a better place. Be it by donating to charities, volunteering, or simply having the mindful presence to always hold the door for someone! In my travels I've sadly found that we are far outnumbered by those too busy or too selfish to care anymore. Prove me wrong and help put the numbers back on our side by checking out The LiftOne Project page I recently created. Click on the link below the picture or cut and paste it into your browser. If you are so moved, you can create one yourself and help "Be the Change."http://www.liftoneproject.org/goto/change
