Josh David one third of the group Breakdown along with Reid Speed and Matt David. He is a self taught, seasoned DJ of ten years. He started at the tender age of 15 and has worked hard to craft his talent and make a name for him self ever since. He has performed all over the United States at events along side all the major performers in the business, from Paul Van Dyk and Roger Sanchez, to The Stanton Warriors and Tommy Lee. His styles over the years have ranged from house, techno, and breaks to electro. More recently Josh has been noted as one of the catalysts in the newly emerging breaks & electro scene in Los Angeles. He established his promotion company BreakDown in 2005 with his partners Reid Speed and Sal Moreno and has been pushing his fresh sounds to the masses not only at his parties in Los Angeles and his www.ibreaks.co.uk radio show, but also at the Winter Music Conference 2007 in Miami, when Breakdown hosted the nu skool breaks room at the Ultra Music Festival’s official after party. He regularly plays with the likes of Krafty Kuts, Deekline, and Reid Speed. He has held residencies for several years with the likes of Insomniac Events, The Vanguard Hollywood, and Go Ventures. Breakdown just recently won DJ MAG and Trackitdown.net's remix contest for Krafty Kuts & Tim Deluxe's "Bass Phenomenon", released on Against the Grain. Josh has accomplished all this at such a young age, and he is not stopping anytime soon.
