Welcome to the 1989-1992 versions of Vulcan...the 2 new spaces..VULCAN V-12 and our other new sister space...VULCAN - Dirty Rhythm....
The same band....2 versions of it.....the ballz out thrash & bash speed metal attack of this V-12 space.....and the more melodic....albeit.....still with a flair for the needy speedy rhythms we so love ;)
This version of the band finds Wayne DeGarma and Alex Dee now gone !!!!! .......N.Y.C. it is for the other half of Vulcan.......Rob & Todd actually keep to their rehearsal schedule....still grinding through all the V-songs from past....working on their infamous....solo..."18 minutes of terror"....yeah....that was the best title for it then...hey....it started as *45 seconds of.....woah dude.....that was cool !!!!*.... .....auditioning guitarist after guitarist.....trying to replace any of the Vulcan guitarists in their heyday....was always a task.....
Enter Carmine D'Amico....Now with L.A. band BLACKLIST UNION....someone who didn't mind that...at the time...all Rob was into was wishing to write the most radical fuckin metal tunes he could.......and C.J. was the perfect compliment with his striking high speed rhythms and knack for a melody within...trading rhythms with Rob in the songs...left turns and left fuckin field everywhere....hell yeah..that sounds good with that...we'll just change it back to the other part somehow someday ;).....
Enter Mark Seikmann ....vocalist.....Mark Wrathen his stage name....previously of the so-fla band Wrathen....he was available when it was time to take this into the studio to start up the rhythm tracks....having sounded very good in the past when Rob had seen him perform with Wrathen.....somewhere in between priest and maiden a couple years prior... ...and pretty much in Geddy Lee mode for much of this.....he'll spin kick my ass for saying that next time he sees me....lol...but that's what everybody says along the way......no one...doesn't say it....that's for sure....
Enter Chris Davis....lead guitarist...and the icing on this anvil cake....Just a bad ass ...YOU BETTER GO LISTEN TO HIM NOW....guitar player.....and that's that.....the most laid back guitar player in the history of guitar players also....
