About Me

I spend a lot of my waking minutes writing words and music and cutting 'n' pasting stuff together with scissors and glue and, sometimes, iMOVIE .
My day job mostly involves playing in the bands THE STARK PALACE (Shark Batter Records) with Admiral Cameron Jack, and DAWN OF THE REPLICANTS (SL Records) with Paul Vickers and many other fine gadgies. PLUTO MONKEY (Shifty Disco Records) was the electronic project band Paul and I had going around 2000. I also co-run SHARK BATTER RECORDS with Stoneghost Mike (my brother), Brendan McAndrew and Cameron Jack. Our acts are (alphabetically): KONO MICHI (USA), MIKE AND MICHI (Scotland/USA), THE STARK PALACE (Scotland) , THE STONE GHOST COLLECTIVE (Scotland) and VACUUM SPASM BABIES (Scotland).

[Cybersonnet]
I've tasted ginger, tigers, lemon, stars
on lips and teeth you glued to ancient birds.
Although we've never met outside of words
you slipped between the seconds, minutes, hours,
stowing your heart on Ziusudra’s Ark
where dog and hog and frog were entertained
by limericks and villanelle you'd penned
and strapped with suspenders to a tethered shark.
Crocodile boots on Sphinx’s bath of milk
delivered skirts and bangles left by lakes,
lapis eyes with tears you'd wrapped in silk,
your new prescription glasses (a mistake),
Although in word alone is where we meet
I feel your indentation on these sheets.
