Hello and welcome to Lakeland Records on MySpace, the one stop label where your music and talent will always be fully supported and appreciated.
We are a small UK based Independent record label & fully registered UK Limited company located in Kendal, the gateway to the Lakes. Specialising in music promotion, production, release & digital distribution.
Our aim is to cater for local and international unsigned artists alike, regardless of their mixed genres. Here at Lakeland Records Limited our philosophy is this, all music is worthwhile, for a life without music would be no life at all.

Sounds Like: Synopsis:Lakeland Records Ltd are a new experience in the UK Independent Record Label sector. They are also a fully registered UK Limited Company. The business is the brainchild of former solo artist David John Duckworth and was formed back in June 2007. The company launched their official website on the 1st of July in the same year.
The labels initial launch has proved very successful with a wide array of UK & International unsigned artists from as far a field as Rochdale to Russia. Lakeland released their first promo CD in Sept 07 with 20 artists on board, and due to the initial projects success they have since continued to create more compilation promo CDs. After completing the fourth and final CD in the first set. The label are now ready to launch the fourth instalment in the second series under the title "Chapter Two - Promo CD-04"! Each CD contains 20 artists from all around the globe.
The label started to sign their first artists back in Dec 07 and now have eighteen UK and International artists on board and are looking at more exclusive signings in the not too distant future. They also produce and barcode all their own CD products with full colour cover and disc artwork via a professional company here in the UK. New features and services will include forthcoming exclusive live events, along with a full blown audio/visual DVD experience both are set to launch early in 2009
In the run up to two years in the business they feel very confident in what the future holds for this unique label, and with the continued help and support of their artists and the great listening public alike. They believe what lies on the horizon looks very positive and firmly believe in what they do, so much so they proudly announce here "Lakeland Records Limited UK are here to stay!"
