Dar a Luz project is a midwifery and healthy birthing advocacy project. Currently, a website, www.daraluzproject.com , with a goal to create an online community and dissemenating information surrounding birthing for women of color and LGBT women. In October 2007, Dar a Luz project received an arts grant from Leeway foundation to create a short film to be distributed to health clinics, grassroots organizations, and activists.
