Daniel Hiram Gibson was born on Febuary 27,1986 near Houston Texas to his parents Cheryl and Byron Gibson.Daniel Gibson had an outstanding High school basketball career averaging 25.5 points a game and leading Houston High School to it's first state title since 1965.Daniel ended up finishing his high school career as the all-time high scorer in Houston High School Basketball.Daniel Gibson Went to Play basketball for the Texas Longhorns.He played starting Point guard wearing his #1 jersey.Daniel Gibson was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2006 NBA Draft.In His rookie season Daniel only played in a few games.But one night,one game everything changed.It was game 6 of the Eastern conference Championship(June 1,2007) between the Cavs and the Pistons.He scored 19 out of 31 points in the game and was hitting 3 point shots left and right and helped lead Cavs to their first NBA Finals appearence.
