I work for an accounting company. I love the bond/closeness of family. I loathe drama and don't think too much of those who create it and willingly participate in it. I'm not high maintenance - well, emotionally a little, but I am, after all, female :) I prefer spending time getting the cooler packed with beer and loading the vehicle with my fishing gear for a semi-quiet evening by the lake rather than getting all dolled up for a candle-lit dinner at Chesapeake. I'm extremely lucky and have met a few super cool people this past year and have even had some people from my past re-introduced into my life which is equally nice. My son is my moon and stars. Children are wonderful and hands down one of God's greatest gifts.
