TRISTAN MAYFIELD

Tristan Mayfield is a New York City based singer, songwriter and model. Tristan was born on May 7th 1988 in Stoughton, Massachusetts. At only 3 months old Tristan was taken and placed into foster care where he would move around the system until he was 8 years old and adopted by a loving same sex couple. Growing up Tristan involved himself in anything where he would be on stage and in front of the spotlight whether it be acting or music. Tristan found his passion when he began performing for the first time at nine years old.
At age 17 Tristan got his first big break when he began writing and recording professionally with Berklee College of Music students on his very first demo in Boston, Massachusetts. It was at this point where Tristan met his future mentor Berklee graduate Darcie Wicknick. Darcie believed in Tristan and pushed him to learn the ins and outs of the music business. Soon the two began writing music together exclusively at Berklee and eventually Darcie introduced Tristan to his very first music producer Lewis West. Lewis had previously worked with Boston based groups such as New Kids on the Block and New Edition. Eventually Tristan decided to sets his sights elsewhere in terms of his career and his music and decided to move to New York City.
At 18 in a life changing move Tristan Mayfield relocated to New York City alone, with no food, barely any money and just the clothes on his back. It was the bravest thing he had ever done. Since moving to New York in 2007 Tristan Mayfield has modeled for such photographers as Wilson Models, Alfred J. Barrera, Nodeth Vang, Jashiro Dean and Stephen Brennan. Tristan has been featured in HX magazine, has recorded with Darko Saric and continues to write and record his exciting upcoming EP with DJ Adam Joseph. Tristan plans to perform and promote his new material this summer in New York City.
