hello. i'm busy mucking about with this and trying to come up with a beautiful - and hopefully nautical - new layout, so it'll be a mess for a while. relative order will be resumed soon.

and it doesn't work properly in Firefox! i've no idea why. oh dear. and i don't know who got into my account and changed the above text to "gay boy" but it's staying! good job.

i'm basically going to put all of the usual features up (besides the comments thing, since i'm still on a crusade against them) and keep jigging it all about until it looks cool. please tell me if it does or doesn't. go on.

Comments, oh comments.

Let it be known that I am against the use of comments as a conversational tool. There wouldn't be a messaging facility if the world really wanted to read a conversation that you could easily have over MSN Messenger or in real life .

So I have hidden mine, for the good of mankind. If you want to advertise a gig, post a bulletin. If you have something to tell me, send a message. If you have a COMMENT to make about me that you feel the world should see, then leave a comment, but no-one's going to see it unless they care enough to click here, which is where a person who wants to view my comments would click .

Now, I like music. A lot. So lots about music will probably be here at some point. For now, you can view my usage statistics from last.fm , the greatest thing to happen to music since Dimebag Darrell died.

Friends

As we all know, people aren't really your friends until they're your friend on Myspace. Which is sad, because I know people who don't use Myspace, and who are therefore not my friends.

I also have people on here whose names I can't even remember, and who I can safely say I don't actually know and will never talk to ever. Ever. But that doesn't matter because they're my friends. Tom said so.

So if you're interested in networking and making friends with people you've never met and probably never will, you can have some of my friends . I really know some of them and they're very nice. Maybe the people I don't know are nice. Why not find out for yourself? I don't want to.
