Headwealth Hardcore
Tuesdays 8-10pm on PBS 106.7FM Brought to you by your hosts - Sarah De Borre and Derya.
Headwealth Going on Indefinite Hiatus
On December 5th, PBS 106.7FM’s hardcore program, Headwealth will be going on an indefinite hiatus. Sarah De Borre, the program’s founder and presenter had this to say:
“I started presenting radio programs in 1998, and even though there are plenty of announcers here at PBS that have been around for longer I just can’t see myself presenting Headwealth for 20-odd years. In the seven years that I’ve built and presented Headwealth I have accomplished almost all of my original goals that I set out to, way back in 1999 when I first started at PBS FM. Doing the show has opened so many doors for me; I’ve done things, been places and met people that a 16-year-old Sarah De Borre could only have dreamt of.
“I will continue to work and be passionate about radio and PBS, I will also still continue to be passionate about the music that got me here; without hardcore I can’t imagine how my life-to-date would have unraveled. As for my hiatus, I can’t say that I’m quitting just yet, I really don’t know whether this will be it or whether Headwealth will make a comeback at some stage in the future. For now though, I definitely need a break and I hope everyone out there that listened to Headwealth will continue supporting PBS. I’ll be back on the airwaves sometime in the future.
Thanks to everyone who supported Headwealth, it was your continued support as listeners, members, bands and labels that fueled the fire.
Cheers
Sarah De Borreâ€
